Shipping Specialist (Administrative)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scan all packing slips into DocStar ECM System and sends CMMS packing slips to Purchasing department.Receive all non-part number POs (Purchase Orders) and direct them to the appropriate personnel.Process all outgoing shipments, including:
Generating UPS/FedEx labels.Booking airfreight and normal freight shipments.Coordinating timely transfer of shipments to the designated building.
Build skids for outgoing freight shipments, ensuring proper and secure packaging.Assist with unloading trucks, adhering to safety protocols.Help with organizing and moving material around the dock as needed, optimizing space and workflow.Maintain contact with personnel in every building and all project managers regarding incoming and outgoing communications, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
