Fabrication Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Fab Production Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the production process, ensuring high levels of productivity while maintaining quality yields and a safe working environment. Your understanding of production operations will be essential in managing daily tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and efficiency among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Review daily production orders to ensure customer fulfillment and proper scheduling. Ensure all positions are filled prior to the start-up of the production line. Oversee Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to promote ergonomic practices. Monitor machinery performance to ensure optimal operational standards. Ensure all workstations comply with USDA inspection requirements. Promote a safety-first culture through daily practices and monthly safety meetings. Ensure accurate shipments, proper inventory rotation, and product coding. Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to team members. Provide encouragement and support to build a cohesive and effective team. Handle human relations functions, including training, retention, and counseling on personal and professional issues. Collaborate with other supervisors to address and resolve operational challenges. Maintain records of reworked or returned products and analyze trends. Educate team members on the importance of quality and continuous improvement. Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support production goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in maintenance or mechanical fields preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing plant is strongly preferred. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and motivate employees. Participate in training programs to improve skills. Follow all company policies and procedures.
Functional Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a dynamic work environment. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Maintain good personal hygiene. Lift, push, and pull products in a cold environment
