Maintenance Manager (Maintenance)
Responsibilities:
You will actively pursue new vendor relationships while maintaining current vendors for opportunity improvementsManage the invoicing accuracy of vendors for accountability purposes and recognize opportunities for changes in current processes and structurePush change when necessaryRequest, analyze, and author executive summaries based on vendor reports, champion changes to the business that reflect value and profitability, and own and manage nationwide repair management including securing vendors, parts, and pricing in the best interest of FSTWork to integrate maintenance into the TMW system such as: tractor/trailer updates, review reports, and keep equipment statuses up to date.Managing the mechanic, directing workflow and prioritizing workYou will identify and coordinate services for PMs, schedule workflow, and work on day-to-day functionality of the department including work ordersYou will structure, maintain, and enforce an on-call schedule for the Maintenance Department, be available 24/7 as necessary, and manage and direct our maintenance technicians duties, including payrollYou will oversee the entire maintenance operation and approve preventative maintenance measures based on data points and industry recommendations, own the technology installs and management of EpicVue, PeopleNet, SOTI/ESquared, and manage all licensing for company trucks and trailersCoordinate breakdown recovery and workflow, gain maintenance knowledge of current FST operations, and develop SOP library for the departmentYou will assist in registrations and tag renewals and assist Dispatch in equipment tracking and utilization of metricsOwn all IFTA registrations and equipment salesYou will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST
